Hmm... gotta disagree about the movement. That's no 2813... nor is it a Miyota 8215. That looks like an Asian 2824 to me.

Still definitely a rep, but I doubt it's from the Gate, Ali or somewhere similar.

Sounds like a good business model, take a rep and just put the genuine movement in it. Scary world out there.

I always buy genuine watches from authorized dealers and have had good luck so far.

Yeah, eBay guarantees a lot of reps are gen but we regularly spot and report reps on eBay around here. It's like a "spot the fake" game around here.

I don't know how they "guarantee" anything when they don't always require it be sent in for inspection. It seems pretty hit or miss. I suspect that they have a small group of people who compare pictures and decide if further inspection is needed, but I could be wrong about that.

They dont guarantee authenticity of the actual item until after its sold and shipped to their authenticator, which is usually a well known watchmaker / service center.. So it will most likely get returned to the Seller after it fails authentication and the buyer will get their money back.
