First to say I have mod (Steelfish) permission for opening this thread-sorry for delay as I said I'll write about it few weeks ago.

I recently opened wanted thread looking for JF AP Chronopassion and member named siangsiang sent me a pm saying he has one in mint condition to sell. He was asking similar price as I got quoted from my go to TD so I asked him if we could agree about lower price and he said ok. He's from Singapore but said he's going on a trip in Europe (France) and that he will take it with him and send it from EU to avoid any customs risks. As he promised, watch has been sent and I got the tracking number and really, after few days I got the package, opened it and there was Chronopassion in mint condition as described. Thumbs up for that and I really appreciate honest description cosmetic condition (crown has a little ding but not a big problem for me).

However after putting a watch on a wrist, I noticed common problem with seconds hand stuttering that it looked like it's quartz watch and also a wasn't able to pull the crown out enough to set the time. Immediately sent the seller a pm asking if the watch had any of those problems before and on my surprise he said he took the watch to a watchsmith because of that problem and that he advised him to just wear it like that while it work and keeps time but crown problem haven't been present and really, it's more or less ok now. But about movement problem, hmm maybe it should have been mentioned before he sent it my way?

I asked him what to do and if he would at least share service costs since he wasn't completely honest about condition of the watch but got no answer. Sent him another one telling him moderator will get involved if he doesn't agree to resolve the issue and again-no answer.

After that I sent Steelfish a pm (thanks for the help mate, I really appreciate it!) and he agreed that he should share service costs with me and if he don't reply he'll get him no saled. Of course no answer again and Steelie got him no saled but nonetheless be careful dealing with him on another forums.

If I can get mods approval, I can share his name and address to protect other members. Also, if you're reading this siangsiang, feel free to write here and make things right.

Before someone tells me that I have to take a risk with this typical AP sec@12 problems, I'm completely aware of it and if it got damaged in transit, I would pay that service with no word about it.

Thanks mate. Not that big problem since I got the watch in great condition and at slightly better price than new one is so at least I'll now have a serviced watch. But still no fair from his side. :/

He is always sneaking around preying on wtb threads. He pmed me with a 390 offer. However, he tried to sell me a cheapie 390 as a Noob. Ignored that asswipe immediately.

Yeah, I noticed his posts in wanted section after I got a watch. However, as I said, watch was in good condition and it keeps time well but you never know when it will crap out.
