Hi All,
I've read the threads, looked at the photos and am decided on getting a Tudor Black Bay.
The trouble is, having tried on Gens of both, I was more keen on the BB58 than the BB54. This was mainly due to size, particularly when on a NATO, just having it that slight bit bigger.
But, the BB58, many owners of the Rep feel that the dial is far too flat and a giveaway, the pip is rounded and not flat, and the the crown protrudes too much.
There are also issues with the clasp not closing properly and the movement being gritty - but those issues seem shared by the BB54.
My question is, is the BB54 that much better a replica than the BB58?
Thanks
