Ballon Bleu 33mm V6F vs TW V4

Out TD have a new model of the Ballon Bleu in quartz. It seems like this new TW V4 has a Ronda movement while the V6 does not. Also the dial and hands are suppose to be better? I bought the v6f automatic for my wife and she loves it, quality seiko auto movement is reliable and the finish on the watch is excellent

My wife was looking for the quartz model. She doesn't always wear a watch and gets frustrated having to wind and set it every time.

I got this for my wife last year same time. She still loves it. It's a two tone watch. The gold has aged in a year. Pictures when I get home.

My better half has the automatic V6F version (Seiko) and could not be happier. Excellent quality.

Actually I don't know what version I got, but officially I ordered the V6F in 36mm automatic for my girlfrend at a TD before xmas. While making some pics of the watch and also comparing to other peoples pictures, I found that the lettering on our watch was embossed on the dial! So far I didn't find any other Ballon Bleu which has this "feature"... so i'm still clueless because certainly the V6F doesn't have this.

Here you can see that the "Cartier" and "Automatic" are actually embossed on the raw dial and the black colour of the letters was printed on top of it. BTW, the original doesn't have embossed letters!

The overall impression of that BB is quite good nevertheless, but what realy bothers me and my girlfriend is, that the timekeeping is more than a minute per day off!!! ..nearly 1.5 mins actually ...really dissapointed about this.

Does anyone know what we can do to make this movement (whatever is inside) more precise?

Ryan advised that the TW version is better than the V6F, however to me, the dial looks more yellow

I like the two tone silver and gold, but i prefer the textured white dial. At least in the photos. How long will the gold plate last if you wear it every day?

Sead told me he didn't know about the tw version but that the v6f was the best and nobody has ever been unhappy about it. Lol take that fir what it's worth.

I ordered v6f and got this.

The engravings on the back don't match any of the versions posted on the tds sites. So it's impossible to say exactly which version it is. I can say though that based on these qc photos, and comparing to the gen, this replica is incredible.

Btw it's a opaline silver guioche dial. Some people expect it to be white because the td calls it a textured white dial. It's not supposed to be white
