Bad o-ring

I am having a terrible time seating the o-ring on the case back of my watch.No matter how hard I try I can't get it done.I will get it almost in and the other side pops out.HELP!!!

stretch it out before putting it in the groove, and also, use a little lubricant on the o-ring, it helps it to stay in place as you put on the case back, and helps the caseback to not pinch it and helps to waterproof the watch. i use 100% silicone. you could also use vaseline, just a little goes a long way. just make it shiny.
