Has anyone had any bad experiences at Trusty Time? I bought a Navitimer in April, 2022. The first one that arrived had a crown that wasn’t attached, it just fell out. I sent it back with no problems and received a replacement. This one was ok, but there were consistent issues with the bracelet. It lasted a year, then the crown broke off of the stem when I was adjusting the time and it’s unusable now. I got just over a year of use and the watch was about $370.

I want to buy a replacement, but am hesitant to use TT again.

Sounds like a watch issue, not a dealer issue.

TD sourced the watch of your choice; in no capacity are they able to oversee the manufacturing process at the factory who produced your watch.

The only conclusion you could draw from here is that *this* movement is problematic, or *this* factory delivered a subpar product.

In no way is this an issue with Trusty.

In all honesty and as much as I want to say TT should help you with this, being aware of the type of these watches and the type of these dealers are, I would suggest you be grateful that you've had one year enjoying it, find a watch smith where you can have it repaired and enjoy it until it breaks again. It's not a regulated market this, regular rules and conditions do not apply. You've picked a lemon, you have to live with it. Or make a lemon juice...

Agree with everything said...hes not making the watches lol. This could happen with any TD, so dont think that ordering from a different dealer is going to change anything. The factory is the factory, the dealer just sells what the factories produce.

Dealers provide customer service and sounds like he provided you good customer service initially by giving you a replacement for the first watch, these are Chinese replicas, they arent under warranty lol

There are many dealers (not naming) that gone MIA after you told them about issues.
Don't even think of replacement 😤

You bought a chinese rep with an unreliable movement (7750 I suppose) Your glad it worked for
One year. The broken stem is an easy and cheap fix. This is the rep game. If you want a Garantie buy seiko.

Wouldn't it be easier to write which manufacturer it is??

TT It only has the task of delivering you something that you have chosen, I mean the builder level first..

clarify who the manufacturer of the replica is and we will all know what not to buy, I think it would be of good use..

trusty time stays out of all this, he has no responsibility

Hello and thanks
