Frustrating guy to deal with.
Sold me an SD43 with seven links total ( described as bought from AD)
Watch had a prof 2X crystal that he had prof install. The Dial when I received had damaged so I contacted @rnrprof. He confirmed that @OldNavitimer received the watch back from him and later complained about condensation inside the watch. Likely this is what caused the irreparable damage.
I’ve since sent the Watch to a watchmaker and purchased a new dial and install at my expense.
Communication with @OldNavitimer via pm only involves him calling me names and denying any wrongdoing.
Lied about receiving the watch with seven links never disclosed of course.
Never disclosed condensation inside the watch which ended up, causing the dial to be ruined.
Just denies everything.
Finally offered to replace the bracelet with a new one but doesn’t give any updates. Still have not received.
Sale included a rubberB red strap also never received.
Sent him a PM he doesn’t respond for several days but I can see him in forum selling other watches sending PMs back-and-forth all day long, but just ignoring me request for a simple tracking number for bracelet.
Not a good member! Apparently he is also a self-appointed watchmaker selling parts on previous threads also had a thread nuked by moderator so he’s had issues with them.
Buyer Beware!
