Back to the Basics....Pam001D on Greg Primo!!

My newly aquired Pam001D. Swiss ETA Unitas 6497 hand wind, closed caseback, Re-Lume w/ SL, thicker crown, and the ever so hard to find Jimmyzfu crown guard..I bought one of the last two he had. I should have bought both. I kick myself in the ass now!

Never owned a Greg strap. I even thought they were ugly as hell when i saw the pics....... then i strapped it on....and WOW!!!

Now i see..................

That doesn't look like any other Crazy Horse strap I've ever seen though (in pics; never saw one in person). Just looks like a regular tan or light brown one to me...

That doesn't look like crazy horse to me, it looks like Primo Tan. Nonetheless, great looking watch and good wax job

I too first installed my Crazy Horse the wrong side up, his straps are so nice it is ard to tell the front from the back

After comparing some pics, that is definitely NOT crazy horse. It's his Primo Tan. I hope you did not pay for Crazy Horse and got Primo Tan. While still a good strap, it's not crazy horse.

Well glad that I'm not the only one who doesn't think it looks like a Crazy Horse.

But as long as he's happy with his strap, that's all that matters. Aren't all Greg's straps the same price anyway?

Nope. He has different pricing for different product lines.

my bad buys. it is a greg strap, just not a crazy horse. for some weird reason i thought that all his straps were called Crazy Horses. kinda like a Chevrolet is to GM. or when you order a drink at a restaurant you say "gimme a Coke" and you really wanted a Pepsi. or you the wife says she needs maxi pads, but you come home with the wrong brand and say "arent they all the same honey?"....

You have the long side on backwards!!! You need to flip it around.

i wear it on my left hand b/c im right handed. so the long side goes torward me and the buckle side is on the outside.

No dude, you have the strap on backwards. Take the long side strap off and turn it one half turn. The small clumps of thread should not show. They go towards your wrist.

Not a 'CH' strap, it's 'PrimoTan' which used to cost more than CH - so if you paid CH price for it - a heck of a good catch

honestly that is the way it came when i bought it so i never thought about it being upside down.

i found a heck of a deal on this Pam001D. I bought the Pam001, a brand new Tag Link Chrono (a7750 etc.) w/ grey dial (still had the plastic on the band/caseback/crystal/pushers/crown), an LV Damier wallet...all for a measly $380. then the seller threw in the Greg strap, a TWB 24/24 Soft Italian, 3 Pre-V buckles, an OEM black Pam strap, 3 rep straps, rep Pam deployant, Horoween Sheel Cordovan stitchless black strap, and bunch of cloths, bags and goodies. it was unbelieveable. what a deal!

i had the JF crown guard just waitin here for the right watch and i found it. i had been tempted to sell it many times for three to four times what i paid for it, but never did. just held on to it. paid off.
