BACK In BLACK once again.
Got my movement and case from Silix for my Everest custom lume Orange Dial
This cost me more agggravation and $ than it's worth. Now I am considering a 2892-2 from Hont of the same simply because I do not trust the Chinese movements. OR I may just wait until this dies and I might have a gen by then. Placed the dial (pain in the ass) set the hands and cut the stem ( a tad too short I think) but it sets and winds and looks as good as when i got it back from Everest before I screwed it up by attempting a powdercoat. Im Happy, not thrilled problably because of the aggravation but it will get some wrist time. Snapped a pic, appropriate for the BR.
Enjoy, and thanks for listening to me rant about this for the last 3 months.
