Hello RWI,

I have finished quite a few project during my time here and would like to share one of them today. I would like to first off, thank all the guys who have helped me with this...in no specific order: cMike, Avitt, the Master, Jaykeem, Angus, and Panerai.

A few months ago, i was offered DLC/ADLC service by RWG member and friend Avitt. It would then be his first project with his first client. Pictures cannot capture how good the pencil lead finish looks in person. Compared to a couple gens i have seen, Avitt's coating and bead blasting are identical to gen A-B series Pams.

Here are some pictures with some of my straps... Enjoy!!

DLC'd Pam 001B:

Do I see a DLC service provider in the future? Please let it be so. :D

It is so, CM! I am offering the DLC service.

Moderators here have generously offered to provide a section for me to provide the service, and I will probably do this eventually. For now, I am keeping the volume low and manageable, by making appointments.

Anyone who is interested in DLC coating should contact me by PM.

Just let me know when you want to make it official my friend....

As for the watch in the pics... I had lunch with cc a couple of days ago and he was proudly wearing it... it's amazing.... we have poured over photos of the look of these early Panerai and, in some cases, have been able to handle the gen pieces.... and this is right there in terms of accuracy...

It is so good in fact that I feel compelled to turn my 201/a project into a 202/a project... the only reason i am still on the fence is that I would have to PVD the V CG... once you go "black", you never go back!

Quit copying me, LOS. *I'm* doing a 202/a watch with FGD's dial and avitt is deffo going to do the DLC. I have no problem using a V CG for this project, it's why I ordered them, in fact.

I need to get one of T's 60 tooth crowns, though, so I won't have to mod the CG lever. After DLC'ing the inaccurate number of teeth will be even less noticeable, IMO.

Here's the mock-up case.... notice the screw heads on both sides... V CG.... T Crown.... (@Hooli - if you need a T crown, I may have one I can sell you at cost)...
