Are there any rep Pams with an automatic movement? I have a manual wind Seagull Omega Planet Ocean now and remembering to wind it kills me as I only wear it once a week or so. Does anyone have a suggestion for an auto Pam similar in look to a 111H. Must be 44 or 47mm and probably closed back since it will obviously have the wrong movement inside.

Excuse my noob Pam questions, I'm an Omega guy!

There are auto 21J Asian movements that are used instead of 6497s, though, those watches are usually cheaply made. I'd suggest going for something that is an auto movement as a gen. The Ultimate 092 comes immediately to mind.

What are you looking for, exactly? When you say "similar in look to a 111H", do you just mean the running seconds at 9 o'clock, or.....?

It doesn't look like a 111, but I highly recommend getting a 253.

When I say looks like a 111, I mean a simple 44mm polished watch. Must have black face and polished case. I like the 111, 112, 002 which all seem imilar in shape and style. But I need an automatic. I looked at the 253 and it is far too sporty. I am looking for a dress watch to alternate SS and black leather bands.

ANy suggestions?

How long is the power reserve on a fully wound DSN111? I have a couple of Omegas and would only where this watch intermitenly. I hate the idea that every time I pick it up I have to wind it.

Will a 111H SS bracelet fit the 104 Auto? How about the optional straps. Same selection as on the 111? Same lug with and cross bar style? I may end up with the 111H as I think it is the nicest Pam and would make a great first buy. Just want to fully explore my options.

Power reserve for the Swiss 6497 is about 48-49 hrs. Power reserve for some of the Asian 6497s have been reported at close to 60 hrs. I think that's a crap shoot, though.

Yes, all the 44mm Luminors use the same size bracelet/straps and the same method of attaching them (screw bars). 24mm wide lugs on both the 111 and the 104.
