Hi guys,
I got a 411 recently.

It's my first hand wound watch, so I've been weary not to overwind it.

Started with 10 clicks, then 20 when it died and 40 this at about 12 this morning

However 40 clicks didn't even last 6 hours....is that normal?

No. A full wind should last 30-40 hours.
Did you wind the watch until you felt a firm resistance?

Pretty sure you're a bit too afraid to wind your watch.

The resistance should be great enough such that you really need to apply a lot of force to wind past it. At least that's how it feels like for me.

But I totally understand, I didn't dare to wind to that point on my first few winds because I was scared of breaking that watch.

I have a Pam with an Asian 6497 and a full wind gets around 36 hours.

I think you're probably under winding it.

When you say 40 clicks to you mean 40 full revolutions of the crown or 40 individual teeth of the wheel?
