Hi Everybody,
I've tried searching on here for info. about this movement but can't find anything useful.
I'm thinking of buying a rep. Rolex with this movement.
I know it's a very cheap movement but I'd like to know whether it's okay despite being a cheap one.
Is it accurate and reliable?
I'm learning lots on here already and want my first purchase to be a good experience.

Super accurate and reliable. The only downside is the low beat sweep but if you can live with that, then it is great. Even better if its in a vintage Rolex.

They're super, they get frowned at by movement snobs but they are just as reliable as the eta clone, and if something happens it can be replaced for about £25
they are usually slightly noisy and the rotors can be very spinny.. nothing a dot of oil doesn't fix most of the time

Sounds good then. If they are a general movement designed for a watch with second, minute, hour and date, does that mean if one is fitted in a Rolex GMT then the second hour hand for different time zones wont work?

They do work, there is a 21j gmt movement, however, there are crappy crap crap 21j that dont have functioning gmt mostly very cheap ones from aliexpress etc.

they work by pulling out the crown to the first click which you change the date and then turn in the opposite direction will adjust the gmt hand.

they have the hands stacked incorrectly, which is a big instant flaw, but.. there have just been some new models released with correct handstack but theyre asian eta clone and around $400
