Asia clone 3235

Can someone give more information about this movement. I see it more and more in rep watches nowadays. Does this movement has any downsides?

Would you go for a 2836 or 3235 movement?

There are 2 stable 3235 movements in the market now. VS 3235 and VR 3235

VS 3235 is the gen-spec full clone with full ~70hr PR that can take a GEN balance
VR 3235 is a hybrid between 3135 and 3235 and cannot take a GEN balance

You should always go for VS 3235 if it is available.

jtime lists a Clean Factory Yacht-Master with a VS3235 movement...and states: "Asia Clone New Custom VS3235 Automatic Movement, 28800bph with Fully Decorated Rotor and Bridges & Plates like Genuine Rolex Calibre 3235 (Best Made Clone Movement from VSF)"

It also lists a Clean Datejust 41 with a VR3235 movement....and states: "Asia Clone 3235 Automatic Movement, 28800bph with Fully Decorated Rotor and Bridges & Plates like Genuine Rolex Calibre 3235"

And finally it lists a Clean Datejust 41 with an S3235 movement...and states: "Asian Super Clone New Custom 3235 Automatic Movement, 28800bph with Fully Decorated Rotor and Bridges & Plates like Genuine Rolex Calibre 3235, 70 Hours Full PR"

You have explained the difference between the VS3235 and the VR3235. Can you tell us anything about the S3235? Thanks.

@Port9800 I think S3235 is just a nickname for VR3235. Both S3235 and VR3235 are 3135 hybrids with only 40+ hours of power reserve
