Asia 23J Automatic with Power Reserve

Hi,
My UN MM Diver has this movement. However when I try to set the date it is no longer responsive.

If i pull the crown out fully I can still set the time (and the date still moves if I move past midnight using this method), and the watch keeps time fine.

Can anyone give me an idea of what might be the problem? Alternatively how easy (and/or expensive) would it be to fix or even replace the movement?

Sourceing a replacement movement would be tricky. Sounds like somethings gone wrong with the keyless. One of our watchsmiths could probably fix it.

If there is no other way, you can buy a parnis with the same movement at dajiwatch.com and strip it. This is the way I would fix my watch.

Thanks. I have ZERO ability when it comes to movements so will persist with it as is. I expect the likes of Wiz/Smidsy are skilled enough to service/replace when the time comes.
