yup, wilmsen is one of the best watch photographers i've come across..it was him tt sucked me into the world of watches&watch photog.. its just pure magic.. his blog offers some great watch photog tips for those who wana give it a try, DSLR or compact, there's smth for everyone..

He's a great photographer! Although I think his pictures are a little bit boring sometimes- they all look the same but one of the greatest watch photographers indeed! This webpage is also very good for panerai pictures:

It's the lighting that gets you, IMO. Really good photogs know how to use the lighting to their advantage, and how it will play off all the surfaces in the frame. Some amazing pics in those links

Honestly, apart from a few photos, those are just average and many fellow forum members have done much better shots.
