ARF stepping up it's... packaging game!

I know there are already several reviews of the new ARF 904L daytona on RWI but I just received mine this morning and was surprised by the packaging of all things...

It came in a nice little clear Rolex branded box and actually had the correct details of Hour Glass boutique in Sydney where I actually have bought several of my gen pieces... Lol. Even the phone number is correct...

Anyway, the watch itself is better than I expected, feels nice on wrist, build quality is great as flagged in other threads. I actually bought this to use as a donor for superfranken Daytona (904L!) but I think I like it enough to keep as is for now.

To anyone reading; the SEL of the Daytona is different to the sub. So make sure you compare the right watch to the right SEL. My favourite example is The seadweller deep sea - that SEL is bonkers af!

Yeah me too..going back and forth on Google, watching pictures of wrist shots and going slowly, but surely, insane I can't remember the last time I was so confused about which dial to get. Gotta love the first world problems

Out of all the reps considered to be top tier, this 116500 definitely takes the icing for finish and feel...especially right out of the box..

I would never buy a rep watch that does not have functions like the gen... for example the chronograph... regardless of how well built it is.

I have the same opinion these days. One of my first reps was a Speedy with the chronology not functioning and it bothered me every time I wore the watch.

Is there some sort of mod or upgrade for the Daytona to get the sub dials working?

You can get Daytona with working chrono from TDs - it will just have a thicker case.

Cheers for the info. I will set be taking a look for this as the Daytona is on my short list for next reps.
