ARF Daytona ???

Hi guys,

Hoping I can get some advice. I'm looking for an ARF Daytona, I've been offered this one for £380. However this seem cheap compared to other ARF's I've seen. Could someone please advise if this looks like a genuine ARF based on the pictures? I'm still fairly new to the rep world so any advice would be appreciated. Cheers guys

I thought the 3 and 9 chrono subdials were fixed on ARF, and they look off in your last pic?

I only remember as I had an ARF panda before and they were both sitting perfectly vertical at 12.

Yeah I remember reading that a while ago actually now that you mention it. Guessing this isn't an ARF then ?

Also the font on the bezel looks thinner than it should be. I'll post a couple of pictures of my Panda for comparison.

Plus (this might just be an optical effect of the photos) the watch looks very thick to be an arf

Thanks for the replys. Really appreciated. Yeah I see what you mean. The pushers look different as well. Must not be an ARF.

Is this coming from a private seller or was this offered by a dealer?

If the latter, I assume it's not a TD, but some shady, obscure Facebook or Insta seller who calls himself Marc57889006565355 or JohnnyChimpo67920001100004 or something like that, right?

Honestly, I don't understand why someone would even consider to give 464 USD to such a seller when we have a sea of vetted TDs who will sell you an ARF if they say it is one. smh

That's about the going rate for an ARF now as mentioned smaller subdials don't work.

Personally I would spend a few hundred more and go for a Clean or Noob with full 4130 movement. ARF were great in 2019 but that was four years ago and the game has since moved on.

The thickness suggests its an earlier Noob which if I recall did have working chronos but the thickness of the watch really let it down. Also those were definitely not 904L. Maybe someone put the sticker on an older watch.

ARF were a few mm thicker than gen but not much. Many people removed the deco plate and fitted a thinner cashback as well as a better rotor as the ARF item was plastic.
