Are there any 40-42mm Panerai watch?
I saw one but it is not like the normal Panerai with a protective cover for the crown.
Any other version? Thanks.

There are quite a few 40mm PAMs. Check out the dealer's websites (linked from the dealer's sections). Josh and Andrew (maybe others) have their Panerai split out by size.

DSN does not have any 40mm pam's.
I contacted him regarding them.

The ones that josh, andrew and twp sell are pretty much the same and around the same price as well.
Unless you get it modded afterwards they will all be almost the same.

I have a nooby question, just how do they define the diameter for the Panerai?
I mean do they measure the crown guard too? The reason I asked is I have had read somewhere that this is how Panerai's diameter is deduced. Any expert here to confirm? Thanks.

The diameter reported is excluding the crown guard.
