Are people actually buying this??

Hi guys,

I came across an instagram account of a chinese dealer(?) and stumbled on some horrid reps.

First of all a PVD 44mm case (which doesn't look bad IMHO) with moonphase, day and month display:

Second a Brushed SS or titanium 1950 case with a pam441 Ceramica dail and SS hands:

I don't get these types of dealers.
This guy has great quality reps, some AliExpress reps and then just the awfullest of awfull fantasy watches:cryingbadly:.


Do people really buy this if the same guy can offer so much better? Even the untrained eye can tell.

There are alot of people who actually buys a rep without studying the gen. Case in point, look at the likes that rolexenforcer busted in his instagram. Most of the rolexs that appears in his feed are easily pointed out as a rep and yet people still buy it lol.

There are people who buy the watches just because they like the look, not because it resembles anything like an actual Panerai watch. If the price is right, they will buy.

Since they manufacturing all these wierdass fantasy models. They should be able to manufacture the perfect replica if they wanted. And the pricing system is a mystery to me.

Yeah I believe some people still buy it, especially for those who are not really knowledgeable about reps as I have seen some of them in person. What's worse is that those craps are sold overpriced for that kind of quality. That's why I am very glad I found this place before being a victim of that kind of reps lol

Guys that kind of tat gets made in the 10s of 1000s and exported by the container load to Africa and the Mid East for the Guest Workers there. The buyers would not know a gen PAM if someone hit 'em over the head with it, they buy 'cause it looks flashy and it's better than the usual canal street stuff sold in these places. Go to Nigeria, every second person you pass is wearing some of the worst reps you have ever seen bought in the local market for 5 bucks. The ones above are the AAA++ models in that market.
