Are No-pin CGs for real?

Has anyone ever seen one like this.

Excuse my noobness, but that’s a first.

Alleged GEN from a reputable certified AP/ Omega/ Breitling assistance, that just got in onto Richemont’s cove.

Hello. In fact, there is a pin, it's just that it is satin-finished along with the CG, it is rather rough, and so it is hard to see.
If you enlarge and sharpen the photo, you will see its outlines, and in another photo, or live, you will see it unambiguously.

This effect can often be seen on the roller of the CG lever when it is almost invisible, if you look at the watch from the front, due to the decoration, but it is there.

No, there has never been a CG with a hidden PIN in some way, although, as you know, not on all models it contrasts with the CG in terms of trim.

I am more confused by how the tip of the lever sticks out, but I suspect that it will simply not snap into place.

And man, maybe I’m aging faster than I think I am, but that took some super eagle eyes
Really had to zoom in and look at it to find a hint of a pin! lol

This guy fixed me up with a gen 448 plexi, so I figured something was off with the watch per se.

The lever did bother me, but the ‘lack’ of a pin sorta jumped into my eyes.

I did politely contact him, maybe he’ll shoot a different pic. I he does I’ll updated this thread and let you know.

Always you are welcome! Other photos will help you see it more clearly. It will be interesting to see them from different angles in order to understand whether the finish has been updated, and if so, in what quality.
