Hi Guys,

I've tried to search forums for an answer. However, I have yet to have found a thread answering the issue. I purchased a Sea-Dweller 2017 Baselworld 126600 ARF 1:1 Best Edition 904L SS Case and Bracelet A2824 V3 from PureTime and the crown has popped out of the time piece. I've taken the back off and the crown does go back in easily, though it no longer is able to change the time or date.

I've contacted PT and they said they cannot fix it as they no longer stock this watch.

Can anyone advise on options to get this fixed or part replaced etc.

You'd need a watchmaker to tell you if/what has broken. It must be the keyless works, they mess up easily on these asian ETA clones. If everything is there and nothing broke, it's fidgety but not expensive. If something broke and asian clone movement won't break the bank, installation costs depending on your watchsmith. If you like the watch a lot and it is a keeper, then buy a genuine ETA or sellita movement, get it installed and forget about problems for years to come.

What Feefo said. If it's a minor keyless work/stem issue, any decent watch maker can fix that for like $30. A 2824 stem is like $15. Also not a puretime fault or issue, it's an ARF issue. Dealers don't make the watch.

Store the watch in a plastic bag with some desiccant until you can get it resolved to prevent any water intrusion.

I appreciate you taking them time to respond. That's great, I will do that as I love the watch

Without going to look up data such as stem height and hand sizes, I personally have swapped out 2813's with Miyotas, just check the data on the 2824 ;)

Miyota vs Asian 2813 is like the difference between a Lada and a Toyota ;)

Thank you, I will take a look. Just out of interest, is there anywhere you can recommend in purchasing this movement? Thank you in advance
