AR coating on Submariner

Hello all,

Got a Clean 124060 recently. I like the watch but I am not happy with the fogginess of the crystal at some angles.

I read somewhere that the gen Rolexes don't have an AR coating on their crystals. Can anyone confirm that?

What is the best solution - send the crystal for an AR coating or get a gen crystal?

In 2020 Rolex added underside AR to the 12xxxx Sub 41.

Not sure about Clean, but VS Sub 41 has underside AR. Hope the helps.

I had an AR-coating done by Sweetwatches at my Clean Datejust for relatively little money and am very happy with the result.

Clean crystals are terrible - too many inclusions making them cloudy - and they should be replaced.
