Hi all!

I'm desperately seeking an Aquaracer 500M non chrono, and to my disappointment, they are not available at TDs these days.

I decided to ask Trevor about his stocks. He advertises his 500M as the one with the updated dial (G letter with arrows).

Trevor said it's in stock and I ordered. After few days I received qc pics.
I rejected it because of the strange scratches at bezel numbers.
Look at this example below.

But the longer I look at it the more strange all the numbers look to me. Just take a look at the shapes of "5", "1", "2" and other numbers and compare it to the other picture (from Puretime - unfortunately out of stock). Doesn't it look strange?

It's probably from some other factory or so. But in general the bezel numbers on Trevor's TAG look very wrong. What do you think guys?
btw. I can't see the arrows on G on Trevor's - can you?

ps. I asked Trevor about it but he doesn't answer for emails for 4 days.

You should have just asked for another pic. As the numbers are metallic the reflections can look wildly different in different lightning.

I agree that the number 1 looks a little sketchy, but eh. It's a rep.

Obviously I asked for another pictures. You say that "1" looks sketchy? What about "5" comparing to Puretime picture?

Well, for starters you didn't order the piece from Puretime. It's likely that the watch is from another factory since it was out of stock. The number 5 looks thicker on Trevor's album as well compared to Puretime's.

The contoured bezel does make the metallic numbers look weird if the picture is of poor quality and the lighting is bad - like here. And your OP doesn't really make it obvious that you asked for more pics. Nevertheless, it's up to you to reject a watch, not me.

Just for a comparison - the photo of an Aquaracer that I used to have but stupidly sold :/
The numbers are smooth and edges are sharp. The difference seems to be huge.
