Thought we should discuss this.. I was at the AD yesterday buying a rubber strap for my 500m and was looking at the gen to make sure it was the right strap. I noticed on the movement it says 2x jewels, twenty xxxxx jewels around the outside edge of the movement and there's also incabloc. The sw200 mine came with has no engraving around the edge and no incabloc shock protection just the older eta shock. Are these mods that tag places afterwords to make it their cal 5 or does the sw200 always come with these features.... On the sellita website it shows incabloc. Thoughts?

PICS I've seen a lot of people talking about clone sellita but never seen one. I happen to have a gen sw200 to compare with!

There's no reason the Sellita doesn't mention 26 jewels on both its main plate and rotor.

A clone ETA is very easily declarable as a Sellita, as basically both movements are clones themselves. Could be a new marketing hype from the makers, to advertize they use the same movement as in the gen.

Agreed ab hyping the sw200 up. The finish is just as good as the sellita and the s logo on the plate is the same so I'm confused... but not complaining. I'll take some pics when I find my macro lens.

I believe Trailboss is expecting a clone SW200 to arrive at some point so hopefully we can do a pic comparison when it does!

It has been discussed here: http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showpost.php?p=687711&postcount=24

I have read that the SW200 movement has several grades: Standard, Elabore, Top and Chronometer (COSC).

The first 2 come with Novodiac and the later come with Incabloc shock protection

The probability of the rep movement being an asian clone is high but it can also be a lower grade sellita swiss movement.

This rep seems to have a Novodiac Spring but I think it's a minor flaw (it can be an asian clone or standard/elabore sellita vs the top sellita movement on the gen).

In the edge of the rep movement it also has engraved "SW200 1" but I couldn't see any engraving stating the number of jewels.

This pic from the sellita website confirms that their movements can have Novodiac type springs:

Ruma,

That is very informative thanks! It looks like we have the sw200-1 when looking at the website and the tag seems to have the sw260?? I cannot find my macro lens anywhere! I'm gonna read through photography section see what else I can do

Not necessarily , the gen probably has a sw200-1 movement but with a top or cosc grade/execution ( this 2 top grades have an incabloc spring).

But some user that examined or has the gen probably can check the engraving for us.
