Hey RWI Family,

Can you guys help me out with this. My Aquanaut clasp has a gap in it. Have you seen this before. Is the cause the clasp or the strap being cut too short? Can you also refer me to a trusted dealer that can help me replace the part that I need? Thanks, guys!

I have a spare ZF one - I'll be listing it tomorrow. I'll link you when I do, no clasp gap

Mine has the clasp gap, too. It’s really annoying. Does anyone know if this clasp is defective or if there’s something I can do to fix this?

Gap comes because of 2 reasons - bad 3k manufacturing, ZF has none. On the 3k, bend the central butterfly looking part a bit...helps a lot. Also on any clasp, there will be Gap if rubber is cut too short or being stretched

I have a different solution that previously suggest ones.

I have tried both bending my clasp as well as trimming the strap ends but in my case it didnt work

For me I superglued a couple pieces of faux leather that serves to apply pressure which forces the clasp ends to come together.

Should be pretty self explanatory

My clasp had wayyyy too much play in it that all the previously suggested methods just don't work. At some point when you have too much clearance in a system you just got to fill it in with something

I used a sharp chef's knife. Carefully removing small chips on both strap ends until the gap disappeared when wearing on the wrist.

Had the same issue with a ZF clasp. Fixed it by shaving the strap ends diagonally as pictured in this link.
Thanks for this - would you mind explaining what you did exactly when you shaved the strap ends? Im finding it hard to work out what you did by looking at the photos. Thank you so much in advance 👌
