I'm sure this is a tired question but I am considering an eta 7753 sec @12 legacy rep and have questions, it is a little over $1100 usd so it's a big deal to me.
I have plenty of gen watches but an ro legacy is beyond me so rep it is.
the 7753 sec at 12, so this must have a mod done to the movement to make it sec at 12. What happens at service time??? or if failure?? what are the probabilities of failure and should I just stay away and stick to a sec at 9 7753 for $700? I want the sec at 12 but if it's an unfixable probable fail catastrophe ticking time bomb I don't want to waste my $
