the more i look at pics of this watch the more i realize its a simply amazing looking piece. so i think im gonna order one this week. my question to all the experts here is, what would be the first mods to get done? lume, AR, cyclops, movement reg???

i've been doing quite a bit of reading and it seems the lume and AR and cyclops are a must but i remember reading somewhere about movement regulation with jewel added.. i would like more info on this movement mod pls.

thanks

On the TA 2010 ... you do not need to do anything .. Lume is very good, sec@12 is working fine (for mine), AR is good ... Just buy a nice gen strap from HKtan ot Apband and that will do ... :)

Not to derail this thread though does anyone have any experience with the Driver Boutique? Same manufacturer, same level of detail, solid lume etc.?

Thanks. :)

Probably best to PM guru on this. I believe he has all the latest information and may be able to give you the best update.

here you go:

The Driver Boutiqe is exactly the same as the Tour Auto except orange accents instead of red, also double stitching on the strap instead of single stitching.

All AP's with A7750's come from the same factory.

Concerning the lume, the lume on the Tour Auto 2010 and the Driver are better than the other AP's. They also put a lot of effort in details on this models.

I'd get an inside AR coating (gen's do reflect) and an AR'ed cyclopse. I only get the movement serviced when it does not work anymore, otherwise I don't see the benefit.

One stupid flaw I noticed when they released it:

Edgematic, thx for pointing out that flaw, i would probably never have noticed. And our Driver Boutiqe is a real beauty.. i was never really into AP's but the more i look at them the more im impressed with its style.

In my opinion, but who cares about my opinion  , you need AR on it.
The lume is great, you can see the time in the dark after 6 hours.

I've asked Lay about my intention to purchase an AP ROO sec@12. However, he advised me not to as I would not be satisfied with the current standards of the sec@12. Why so? Anyone have any clue?
