AP ROO seconds at 9

I did my homework: all gen are built "second at 12".
Despite some opinions that at least the newest A7750 with seconds at 12 are much better than they used to be, I am still afraid of any 7750 which is not "seconds at 9".
I've seen some "second 9" reps which, except the switch of the two subdials, look very nice. At least to me they do.
I don't care too much ( only a bit :)) about 1:1 gen similarity.
If it looks good and feels good, it's OK for me.
Does anybody have one of these ( sec @ 9, I mean )?
If yes, what's your opinion: are they good stuff?
More reliable than the 6 / 12 ones?
I know there is no rule here; but just an educated opinion would be highly appreciated.

Thanks for reading

Im guessing here, but I think they all use the 7750 movement, which are made with seconds @ 9. This means they are very reliable. However, it is prob better paying up for a seconds @ 12 and having it reworked by domi or francisco for reliabilty. The last thing you want is to pay $300 for an AP and have some mug point out that its a fake! Pay the extra and keep them guessing!!
Thats what I plan to do, when I have the $500 needed for the watch.

You know, there are so many versions of the gen AP, not necessarily only ROO, some of them having the sec @9 ( but with 4 subs), that I very much doubt I can easily encounter a mug so familiar with the brand as to be able to tell the fake at a glance;)
Unless, of course, I meet you or somebody from the forum; but I trust you will cooperate:whistle:
Anyway, I don't want it for show. I just like the bugger.

Thanks for your replay

There's no question the seconds @9 or the MBW version is more reliable than the seconds at 12. To be honest, I have only seen a few AP's in the wild and chances are no one will know the difference. It would be great if they could switch the dials so the seconds at nine would travel to 60 instead of 30, but hey, if you like the watch, go for it. The MBW is extremely well built and those who have them love them.

Thanks for the input.
Here comes my next question:
Is there any secure way of knowing where the "7750" really comes from?
I somehow remember reading that MBW is one of the basically only two factories producing all reps on the field - the other one being the "Cartel".
However, none of the descriptions I have seen on websites mention the source. All they say is the movement type.
Unless this info is "hidden" inside the "Asian', or "A7750", or "Asia Valjoux ",etc. They might look the same to an uneducated reader and still convey enough info to the insiders.
Could anybody help with this?
