AP ROO sec@12

Hi guys, I would buy an AP ROO with sec @ 12 but what stops me is the 7750 movement that has many problems ..... are news about this movement? Is anything changed? have updated to make it reliable?

Some people say that they improved the movement but I don't really see how it helped since a member bought a rep with the new "improved" movement and still had jerky seconds hand

However, according to Francisco, the reliability problem is the assembly of the gears that transfer the seconds from 9 into 12. He aligns them to gear properly among other things like adding a jewel, polishing surfaces, etc.

this question has come up so many times. generally the 7750 is a pretty reliable mvt. not as reliable as a eta 7750, but for the money, pretty good.
there has been a lot of discussion about the 7750 sec @ 12 module, and if you compare to how many AP ROO rep's are sold, and how many are going toes up, you could draw the conclution that the problem isn't a huuuge one.
-that said, you could be the unlucky fella that recieved a doa watch, that's the way it is in the rep world.

Supposedly there is a new version of the Safari with a corrected date window position and updated movement. Saw it on king's website:

kesha, that looks like it is a newer one with cut back rehaut. While fixing the effect visually, it does not physically correct the issue.
