No it's not actually, but someone had one similar frankened and I fell in love with it but it was about $4500 from memory. When this one came up on PT it was a no brainer to grab it. Got opened and checked at the big-C too but they let it though....go figure.

I'm glad you said that because its what I have been thinking too. The dang rep looks far better than the gen! But I havent really seen any obvious flaws either which is good.

Reps are visually amazing, I just wish the reliability of Reps was better. I always seem to get DOAs and movement issues.

That sucks mate. I had all my watches on a watch winder and eventually decided to turn it off. Thought I'd save on the wear and tare! The reps, I agree and expect will wear out faster than gens. Again thats why the gens are that much more expensive.

Thank you @reppin I'm super glad I bought one. Getting a few comments on it since today is a lovely summer day in WA and I met up with my business group for early morning coffee. They all know I'm into watches so I try wear a different one every Friday. Wore the Zenith last week, so it was the AP's turn this week.
Of course I have put the Zenith back on...nothing to do with fear of anyone...

That is a sweet looking AP chrono. It is so colorful - the gold case, hands, and logo, white dial, red subdial hands, black date and ticks, and the white strap - just right for the summer.
