AP Diver Strap

To all the AP Diver owners,

I would like to change the rubber strap on my AP Offshore, It is to thin and I don't like the depolyant clasp,
so I thought maybe the Diver strap would work fine!

Does anybody know if it would fit on an Offshore?

that would fit, but apparently the strap from the Noob factory isnt available just yet. The first batch was only made in small quantities.
Try to send a message to the dealers and let us know.

I saw the strap on the Puretime homepage.
I just sent an e-mail to Angus and ask whether it would fit on an AP Offshore!

Wait for his answer and will post what will happen!

Ask him whether it's a noob or a channel factory strap... I saw it, and the price is good.

Angus just answered that the Diver Strap doesn't fit on the Offshore!

I will get one of the new "Grand Prix like" straps from AP bands, as soon as they will be able to deliever!

Falsh...sorry but I have the Channel version and the Noob one and I have tried the 2 rubber straps on my AP TO and it fits...

Maybe because of the end links? I don't know! As I said before, Angus told me the strap would not fit on an Offshore!

@Yannou, have You checked the strap on the Puretime homepage?

If You're shure that it would fit, I am going to order one!

Just wanna let you guys know that Yannou was right!! :thumbsup:

I ordered a AP Diver strap from Angus and it fits my AP Royal Oak Offshore perfectly!

It is wider and it has no deployant clasp like the original Offshore strap, which makes it look much better, bigger, thicker on the watch!

Furthermore the deployant clasp on our reps kind of hurts my wrist when I wear it!

The Diver strap feels very comfortble!

Everybody who doesn't like the regular Offshore strap, go for a Diver strap!!

My watch went for some modds, I will post some pictures as soon as I get it back!!

you should check Guru's thread about modding a DIVER...
They do fit, and there are pics of how the strap will fit. It's a good choice, you should go with the swiss movement. That watch is a real beauty.

Thanx OSX!:google:Finally, I saw Guru's post and his explanation - I got several pms during the last days regarding the modds and regarding the straps. On the Noob and on the Channel version the AP Roo straps will fit. I took some pics with a Hornback strap, with a AP Roo bracelet and with the rubber strap. In my opinion the bracelet on the diver is very nce and will fit very good when you wear a suit. It is an elegant combination.


Another questions appeared in my mind after I read Diver descriptions at several forum dealers:
1. noob AP Diver is made from 316F SS and AP ROO Black/Silver temes are made from 316L - there is a color difference between these SS bracelets? (theoretically 316F SS should be whiter and more shiny than 316L, me thinks);
2. Why just PureTime is selling AP Diver with Asian 2836 and Selitta SW240 and all other dealers just with A2824 and SW200? It have exclusive movt's?
