AP 15500 White ZFv3 vs APSF does the L make the difference ? (my first post, be nice)

Hi all, this is my first post, so please be nice

So I've been looking at the AP 15500 in White (which I assume means silver), and it seems the ZFv3 is the current winner, but the EES irks me (like a dead pixel on my phone), and wanted to get some feedback on the APSF face and bezel to see if on which I should pull the trigger.

I see a lot of post on the blue not being the right blue and such, black being the best, but not so much about the white.

Thoughts and comments ?

The silver dial on the rep is really off compared with the gen. Remember however that this is subjective and only my opinion.

Source of knowledge: I do have a gen 15500 in silver in my collection and I’ve seen the rep silver 15500 dial too.

Based on the latest QC pic I’ve seen, it appears that ZF has fixed the “Jewees” typo. With regards to being gen like, I’m assuming it’s your first rep so I wouldn’t sweat it. If you like the colour you see in the QC pics, go for it and enjoy the watch, how close it is to whichever variation of a gen model doesn’t matter as long as it makes you happy to have on wrist.

Yes can confirm that the spelling mistake has been fixed, and that no versions of the incorrect spelling should have been released to TDs.

That said, in terms of dial color accuracy, the order goes as follows: Black>Blue>>>White>>>>>The rest.

Of course, as @legend and many others have said, it's really personal preference. If it bothers you that the color is quite different from gen, feel free to go for the black or blue dial. Keep in mind, the greatest initial visual different between the gen and rep is the dial anyways, so you could just get a gen dial and install that instead (mind you, this will cost you a few thousand dollars).

Unless you're wearing a rolex, 95-99% of people won't even notice your watch as being luxury, and of that, maybe 1% of that 1-5% will know its a rep. Without putting it on, it's very, very difficult to say for sure, and ultimately your career and lifestyle will be the stronger indicator on their suspicions.

You don‘t need to hope. You will for sure don‘t get one with spelling error. The watches with jewees were only prototypes that never been handed over to TDs.
