AOOBUY / Robbie Yuan Dealer review

Here's my dealer review of www.AooBuy.com.
First notifications:
- Why isn't AooBuy on the trusted dealer list? Lots of people bought stuff from him!?
- He is located in Guangzhou, China.
- He takes pp, altough it's not mentioned on his site (he told me he had to let "pp" vanish from his site or they'd sue him or so)
- Shipping took about 2 weeks after payments, actually 5 days shipping but 7 days waiting (Hong Kong Post by Air is very slow, but safe for customs!)
- He sends every order as a "gift" so the chance of the package being seized by the customs is very small.
- He can get everything what's not on his site for you at the Guangzhou Watch market (the market where nearly all the watch dealers get their watches), if you describe the watch you want exactly.

At first, I bought 2 pairs of Gucci replica shoes at AooBuy.
After a lot of contact via MSN, I picked 5 pairs I liked and asked which were the best quality.
Then, he picked 2, I paid $107 including shipping + a free Armani boxer.
Shipping took about 13 days, HONG KONG POST Air registered mail is pretty slow, but nearly guaranteed your package won’t get seized by the customs.
It arrived, very well packed (not in a box). Inside:
- Gucci shoes including Gucci dustbag, Gucci card and Gucci labels
- Another pair of Gucci shoes including 2 smaller Gucci dustbags.
- Armani Boxer, fits well but the quality doesn’t satisfy me.

I am VERY satisfied with the shoes, I love the quality for just $36!!!
All people around love my shoes, they’re not extraordinary but they’re very nice.
This was my first order from Robbie Yuan / AooBuy , but my 2nd (Watches) and even my 3rd (AP Box)have already been shipped! He’s very friendly and will explain you everything, he’s a great guy! Great communication and personal treatment.
About the watches:


Robbie Yuan from aaobuy.com went to the same market where WatchEden(and other replica watch sellers) get their watches.
So he will get me exact the same one for a better price ($100 instead of $148) and an Omega 007 for $80 instead of $128 at WatchEden.

I bought rep boxes from him at unbeatable prices. They arrived in an excellent packaging and perfect condition (which is rare for boxes).
The problem I see for watches is that his store shows a lack of details, so it's more risky if you don't know what you're looking for.
Otherwise a reliable dealer.

I agree that Robbie is a good guy to deal with, as can be testified by many others as well.
However to be fair, the price comparison you list is not real. From the Watcheden price you can deduct $20 by using the cupon on the home page. This means that the real price for the AP is $128 incl. shipping.
Aoobuy adds shipping charges. Not sure how much, but probably at least $20. This leaves a minimal price difference between the two.
So really it is a bit up to your personal dealer preference.

Got a shirt and a hoddie from him. Quality was good.. The shirt has one little defect,but it is nice made.. Shipping took a while,but I got the clothes save through the swiss customs.

Thanks for feedback, our dealers normally guarantee delivery with free re-shipping, though. I doubt any non-trusted dealer would offer that kind of service, but if he does I'd vote for having a new trusted dealer 100%.

You´re right, but I live in The Netherlands, and Watcheden does count $35 per watch shipping for The Netherlands (and some other countries). I didn't forgot the discount, otherwise it would be $346 here's the calculation:
1 Audemars Piguet watch inc. discount $128
1 Omega 007 Quantum of Solace $128
2 x shipping $35 = $70
__________________=
WatchEden total of $326

The AooBuy calculation:
1 Audemars Piguet watch $100 (little discount because I bought 2 watches)
1 Omega 007 Quantum of Solace $80
2 x shipping $20 = $40
__________________=
AooBuy total of $220

Can't call $106 a minimal difference.

By the way: I will keep him up to date with this thread, so he can use the feedback given for editing his site

I dont think is easy to become a RWI trusted dealer, besides what JJ says, IMO the RWI dealer is willing to find the best stuff for us, with some warranty, plus they are willing to time to time make a raffle gift, and many other things that we are not aware of.
So be very grateful to RWI staff that always is whatching our backs.

Btw, AOOBUY need to be trusted in anything he sales, thats hard for him.

You'd be surprised what our admin can do when a deal goes bad with a trusted dealer.

robbie is not here for some reasons. First off his prices are cheap for the 50-100 bands which is great.

But his prices of the so call swiss watches are higher than the dealers we have on board.

Plus some of the description are not so accurate. We did consider him but some of the requirements fall short.

Thirdly , what could he offer here that our dealer can't offer?

nobody would be held responsible, we will just facilitate any deals gone south if the dealer is on board. And more often than not, the issue will get a resolution.
