So I'm bored and was thinking that a lot of guys have taken a cape cod cloths to make the cases more of a pencil just grey. But I was thinking would it work if I took my buffing wheel and used a green or red rouge to make is less dark. Would it work orr would it take too much of the dlc off? Has anyone tried?

Anyone take a buffing wheel to an 026 case to make it less dark

Just finished it. I was asking while I was taking it apart lol. Anyways I used the buffer at first and got a little of the black coat off. Next I used my wife's nail buffer, one of the ones with 3 sides from brushing to buffing, lightly went over it with the most coarse side and and then went at it with the cape cod cloth which smoothed everything out. Here is the result.
