Has anyone ever removed an existing Panerai dial logo on their dials? If so, what is the best way to do this? Alchohol and clean cloth? Or do you have to paint over it?

Any thoughts?

I believe some people have done this with paint thinner and Q-Tips. Just make sure you go S-L-O-W-L-Y!

Peepshow--thanks.

Does this mean the dial faces themselves are painted too?

I have yet to take anything apart on my Pams so do not know from personal experience

How did you get the Davidsen watch to fit on a TC Strap? I have tried with both my PVD 195 and both 5218/201a 's and the straps are too thick to work on them.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Huh? Too thick? Do you mean too wide? I don't see how a strap's thickness would keep it from fitting on the watch? I have TC Straps on all my Davidsen watches....

I've had no probs either. Have had a MP on my 195, and now have a GeF on my 202/A - which is really thick.

Maybe you mean 26 / 24mm??

Nope--on my two watches, when I put a TC Strap on the screw lug pin (with tube, without tube, etc) the end of the strap, where the strap folds over and forms the loop that the screw slides into, that bend presses against the case and there is friction - if it moves at all -depending on strap. Never had this problem on other rep Pams.

Luckily the straps he sent me with these watches are great and work well with his watches. I also have one with a Panatime perf calf sstrap that also works well --just not the 'cooler" TC ones I have.

Very odd.

I think I know what CISO is talking about. One of my straps,
a really nice HKTAN won't fit because of the thickness,

BUT I forced it.. and... the strap has WABI on it now..

The Mario Paci strap pictured is a perfect fit.
