The gen PAM505 is indeed a ceramic cased PAM. KW is just waiting for the samples to arrive.

I didn't know you could coat metal with BS. :lol:

it will be interesting to see if they can match the color up, as that PAM uses their composite ceramic material that is a very pretty shade of dark brown.

^ correct about the brown. I wouldnt quite call it brown since you could get away with a black strap. its more of a dark chocolate they can call it whatever they want tho. Most of the pics I took of it show it as black or black enough you would at first glance call it black.


What kind of time frame are we talking about untill one comes out?

I'm afraid the 505 will be DLC coated steel case since the 386 that KW released is DLC coated..

For sure, although I will say that I have that DLC case they did and the color came out pretty close to gen. From the naken eye, I don't think you could notice. The weight will be a easy tell though.
