The new 177 has a hex type tube for the crown. I'm having trouble finding a thicker one that would fit. Does anyone know where I can source one that would work?

The crown is accurate. Why are you wanting to change it?

Well, since I have your audience......... my lever seems to be a bit loose on my 177. What do you suggest? :)

Is it like wobbly?
Or is it because the crown isn't thick enough?
I just thought too that the crown is a tad bit smaller than the gen, but I guess i have to live with it?

All you need is an extra gasket on the inside of the crown

Interested in this - does the gasket go inside the case - and therefore invisible or does it just slip down the winding stem and sit at the base of the crown head - outside the watch and visible?

Thanks

The crown is partially hollowed out and the gasket goes in that so it is not visible

I see thanks. So you just glue another one on top of the existing black rubber gaskget?

Although it's hollowed out, there's only appear to be enough room for 1 gasket to sit flush. adding another makes it stick out a bit or should you slightly hollow the hole out a tiny bit more? - or use just one but make sure it's a slightly thiker one?

Sorry if I'm asking too many questions but I'm just keen to do the right thing and not screw up my watch.

Don't use glue. Use silicone grease. That will make it more water resistant. You might be able to see it when you pull the crown out but not when you snap the lever down.

Adding a gasket can help crown spacing and help water resistance

I need to find a proper gasket. Anyone have a link of where to buy one?
I'm also looking for a gasket that would fit the caseback. :)

Would also like to know where one can buy proper crown gaskets? May be slightly thicker ones than standard rep to avoid the need for 2
