Anyone Know a Mare Nostrum 5218-304 Rep?

Soon as I saw the gen I instantly fell in love with it - the Mare Nostrum 5218-304. I loved the PAM300 but it is as @ALE said, too big at 52mm with display case back and flawed movement.

However the 5218-304 is 42mm, closed caseback, and the BEZEL IS SHINY!!!

A truly sensational piece.

Does anyone know if a rep of the watch is available at all?? (Pic borrowed from internet)

You could buy a vintage prototype case (WL or Hornlug) and install a Nostrum dial...

Thanks for the advice. Are "WL" and "Hornlug" members at the forum? And is HF= H factory?

Thanks gmg, you pointed me to the right direction. I did a search on HF and it seems like the vast majority is interested in the 201A and didn't see anything relating to the 5218-301/302/304 casing. Also looked into the welded lug and the horn lug that you recommended, looks about the closest thing you can get right now, but there's something about the continuity of the body to lug on the 5218-304 that I really appreciate...

I will also do a post on HF to see if there's any ripples in the pond...not too much hope on that tho.

I'm starting a build and have ordered this quartz $85 version as a base, once it arrives I'm going to start looking at movement, movement holder, pusher extensions, hands, and dial options. I too have fell in love with this watch! kpOy seems to be the man where mare nostrum is conserned, if I could afford one of his builds I'd grab one! He actually has one available at the moment I believe.

Edit: in my excitement I've just realised this thread is a year old! Come on guys share some mate norstrum pictures and information! Help a guy out [emoji28]

They only repped that stupid 52mm re-issue. These are indeed very nice chrono.

The best alternative I have found is from Steinhart

A bit expensive though , but very tempting
