So I've ordered a few straps off of the trusted strap maker list here and all has been smooth. I ordered for the first time from snpr at the end of feb. he responded quickly and I made my order. But I've been trying to contact him for the past three weeks for an update and have not had any replies.
Anyone else having the same issue?

SNPR has a stated 12 weeks lead time. This is copied and pasted from SNPR website regarding contacting for updates on orders:

Currently I’m turning straps over every 8 -12 Weeks Appox.

Please understand that the turnaround times are based on order volume which currently is very high. I maintain this site daily so the quoted times are accurate. PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME FOR UPDATES ON YOUR STRAPS UNLESS IT IS PAST THE QUOTED TURNAROUND TIME. This takes a lot of time to respond to and takes time away from making custom watch straps. If you need to make an adjustment I will work with you to ensure you are getting what you want. Should you have an issue with your strap once it arrives please contact me at.....

8-12 weeks for a machine stitched strap? That does seem a bit excessive.

He replied and said he would ship the strap out for me this weekend. I'm still on the "let's wait and see phase..." But he's a trusted dealer here so I have faith that he will pull through

I know you're excited about your order. But patience is the key to enjoyment of this hobby. Buy your self a nice stockpile of straps and watches to enjoy so it doesn't bother you when you have to wait several weeks or months for your order to arrive. Sounds stupid I know, but I cant tell you how many times I've opened my mailbox and found something I odered months ago. It's actually kind of a fun feeling.

I waited quite a while for my last one too. Judging from his Facebook and instagram, he has a few other things keeping him busy too. Gotta say though. His straps are brilliant when you get them.

I don't see any flaming from him, just discussion. Fair enough. Gen buyers need to know how to not get stiffed spending big $$$ on a rep or franken.

Pretty Weak claim. Everyone is entitled to their own views.

I plan on buying a few from this TD.

Still has no update from him despite the fact that he said he will have it out for me last weekend. I'm gonna hold out for a few more days as people seems to give him lots of rep here but this is no way to handle a business transaction. His straps aren't cheap by any means...

So it had been three weeks now since he said he'll get it out to me by the weekend. I think the word TD really doesn't mean anything here anymore.

A long lead time is quite frequent with the most skilled strapmakers, but 120 days... I would be pissed as well.
Open a help desk ticket. The mods will contact him and have the matter resolved.
I'm sure it's just a matter of time and you'll get your straps.
Good luck :)

TT I have told you before, it is not your place to comment on other dealer's. Please refrain from doing so. Staff and the dealer involved will handle this thank you.

Thanks for letting us know. I was going to order from him, but he just lost my business.
