Just remember, that as in watches, there are different versions. This is sometimes reflected in the price.

I've purchased other items from SEAD with good results. I have yet to purchase a handbag from a TD. The few I have had came from fellow members. Frankly, I have not been impressed by any of them.
Posh over at RG was flaunting her spectacular Birkin bag. For those in the know, is it really an outstanding product superior to those from other TD’s ?

Good timing on this thread, I believe Sead has a site for hand bags and accessories. I have a big order with him at the moment on four watches and my wife asked me, while I am at it, to ask about a Burberry she liked.
While I am really impressed with my dealings with Sead so far on watches, I know what I am looking for on that front. I know nothing about ladies bags (other than my wife seems to spend a fortune on them). I couldn't tell you whether these are good reps or not. That said, I have also seen my fair share of rep bags in the past (Canal Street) and even with my untrained eye, I could spot the reps because the quality of their canal street leather was huge tell.
That said, as with watches, there are good quality reps with bags and crappy Canal Street versions. Good quality generic (non-high end designer anyway) leather bags are still expensive--in the $200 range. I would expect that this what I would pay for a good quality replica. Anyway, if you find what you're looking for, let us know. Lot's of us have wives and girlfriends and, of course, Christmas will be here before we know it.

My wife is as much of a handbag freak, as I am with watches. Unfortunately, she refuses to use reps. I guess they are easy to pick out for a trained eye.
I believe some of them best replica Birkins go for upto $1500, but for that sort of cash they would need to be coming out of the back door of the gen factory
Yes I know what you are saying, might be worth while sending Ken/ Bergies @ RWG a pm I know he gets great reviews over there on his stuff, if you looking for that better quality Hermes bags.
Just read a review on the Birkin over at RWG sourced by KB. Posh had a say on it and didn't seem too impressed. The OP rated it at mid-level.

I think most of the Hermes he sells are $300-350, I think some of the best are a lot lot more $$$$$$

Yeah, but Hermes is on a whole other level. It's like comparing a 16610 to a A Lange Sohn. My wife's best friend has a few ( yes, a few) , Birkins. It's insanity what women pay for them. Have you ever been to a Hermes VIP event ? icard:
