I've been searching for PAM1499, and cannot find any reviews on this site. I'm looking specifically for the Panerai Automatic Luminor Marina -- listed below.

The case is wrong, so I imagine not that many members are buying it.

not the material, the case shape is different. AFAIK they changed the thickness of the case and changed the movement. As far as the rep goes, the movemebt has not changed and modified A7750 or ST2555 would not fit in the new case shape. So they are making the changes to the dial but the shape and movement are still the same shape and thickness. Just food for thought

Wrong thickness. The PAM01xxx series is all about having a thinner case, but the rep is using the old case of a PAM00xxx model.
