Hello boys and girls!

I was wondering if the Nomos watches has been replicated?
They are beautiful and the design is pretty simple, so it shouldnt be a problem to do.
I saw that Watcheden had a Nomos category, but its empty.

So anybody knows?

I only wish they made a Nomos rep.. Nomos is a selective watch market appealing to true german watch collectors so I wouldnt plan on seeing one soon. For around $2300 you can get a gen Nomos Tangomat, a watch I would love to own.

Yes, that was my gut-feeling. To selective clientel.
Its a good thing they are not too expensive, as i will defenitly get one in the future (after my gen SMP).
You can always hope they do it though!

When you see a finely crafted detailed watch like a Tangomat in person and especially considering how reasonable the price is, it's pretty amazing. Also, it's nice to own a one-of-a-kind watch that everyone and their brother does not own.

I think many watch collectors fall prey to advertising and celebrity wannabees rather than choosing a watch that truly fits their own style. If I were you I would buy the Nomos first, and then get the SMP. :D :D

Ok, so nobody is making a rep of Nomos. But anybody knows of a rep that resembles the Nomos Tangomat?

tenshin it looks like it's just you and me. :D If you get some time check out the german forum at WUS. I beleive they call the seconds hand "Kleine Sekunde"...H_U can correct me if I'm wrong.

I ordered a Stowa Antea Creme 5 months ago and Stowa just finished moving into their new building so all their orders were delayed. I should get the watch hopefully in late June.

The Stowa Antea KS is much like the Nomos you posted except I think the Nomos movement is better crafted.

Yeah Cybee. I´m feeling weard, like its something wrong with me ;-)
I checked that Stowa out months ago, but was concearned it was to small at 35 mm. Its gorgeous though! So I will await yours, pleas post pics when you get it. And wrist pics so i can see if it looks small or wears big.
I dont know what it is about the Nomos but its much more beautiful even if they are essentially the same. Strange that! And I love that it has a date also.

Mappin and Webb have Gens in Canterbury.

They are seriously good looking and compared to the brands we normally deal with here, very good value for what they are.

Definitely candidates for Gen purchases.
