Hi all
So. I'm a bit of a 320/329 fan. Ok maybe obsessed is a better word. I've got 5 of them currently, and over the years have had maybe 12 all up including 2 gens as well (sold my first Gen to get a revised one I preferred). Ive spent time with the panerai watch makers and know these watches really intimately. If you want to know about 320 issues (including gen issues) im your guy...
Anyway, I'm now beginning to consider pulling the trigger on the VSF v2 but am still not sure. I've never really been happy with my v6f's previously (though I still own 7 of them). They are well made watches, are usually consistent quality wise and have decent movements but there is just something about the dials / faces which is off. In the past it's been the brownish inscription and perpetual green tinge to the lume that's had the biggest impact - most noticeable on a dark strap. It just changes the entire feel of the watch for me. This is not a problem with the ecru ones which is why I have them (438, 359, 1312, 1392 etc).
Anyway. I rant. I'm hoping some of you would be willing to share pics of your car 320's so I could see what they look like in the wild. I've noticed on the TD websites the brownish inscriptions and date wheels seem to remain, but have seen a couple on here which don't seem yo have them.
Also, any info on the movements performance and reliability welcomed.
