Any Panny Modders in the US?

Well, I have finally caught the Panerai bug... I can t explain what draws me to these watches, but once I got my hands on a DSN fiddy and a PAM036 (old good version), the rest is history. Now they wont come off my wrist.

Anyway, I was wondering if there are any modders that do relume, movement service, etc., in CONUS? As much as I want to ge some work done on my watches, I dread sending them overseas twice.

If I remember right, FF is also in USA.

Lucky you. All the mod masters are in USA. You will have a hard time to choose now.

Yep, Flava Flav is in the US, too. Although, I've heard rumors of him scaling-down the amount of jobs he's accepting. I don't know if that's true, or not.

Once he posted that he was fully booked till end of October something like that. Hope he will not hang up his tools.

That's a very subjective question, Graham.

The only one I've ever used is vaccum and I have nothing but great things to say. I've talked to Joe on the phone a couple of times and might use him in the future. I've heard nothing but good things about Flav, too.

Do your research and you won't have any problems with any of them, I'd bet. Joe seems to be the go to guy for Rolex mods, but I know he does PAM mods, too. Johel has shown some fantastic relume jobs on "sausage" dials. Flav has shown us some of his GREAT vintage mods.

What watch are you looking to have modded and what would you like done?

I didn't know you were accepting jobs to mod watches bought elsewhere, Prince?

Hi TWP:

I just saw your post on Repgeek re: accepting mod-jobs on other people's watches -- thats awesome! But it looks like the best deal for a PAM mod is to buy it from you watch and all. Although I just got a Daviden fiddy thats excellent except for the fact that the lume lasts for about 10 minutes (even after being charged for a few hours) and most importantly a flappy crown lever (even in closed position) and bad crown pin...(Hmm.. I guess maybe its not so excellent...)

Do you just offer the specific mods on your site, or do you offer other PAM mods upon request?

One specific question is whether you can do a replacement crystal for a PAM 005?

Thanks,

Grahamdunn
