Any love for the White Ceramic ROO 44? ;)

I bought this gem some weeks ago m2m over at RG (from MrWatch, who is an awesome seller btw) and promised to post pics when she's with me. Especially to answer the big question about the ceramic case being too glossy, transparent etc.

So here we go in the first step with some general pics, trying to capture the beauty of this stunning and awesome watch:

Ok, so in the next step I'll try to show off the finish of the ceramic case and bezel. Short answer: it is NOT glossy and NOT transparent - is has a nice BRUSHED finish. Maybe it's not matte enough ("like powder") compared to the gen, but it's definitely not as glossy as it seems in most of the TD-pics. Trying to photograph a fine-lined brushed finish on a bright white surface is not really an easy task, but I did my best...

One thing I noticed is that the strap has a much warmer tone of white and case/bezel a colder tone of white. They certainly are supposed to have the same color temperature... Besides that this rep is just amazing!

Even the movement is super-smooth (no jerky running seconds, very smooth winding, great power reserve) - the best running movement in my small AP collection (4 pieces) so far. Thanks again MrWatch!

Conclusion: If you're fancy enough to rock a full-white watch just go for her! I bet you won't be disappointed. :thumbsup:

Those are some really compelling and seductive photos that provide material for debate. I had noticed recently on TD sites that the finish of the case was not as glossy as in some photos from other sources. It seems the white ceramic 44mm can gain a bit more acceptance through these photos of yours as they dispel the worst fears we had about the model. Very nice acquisition and no doubt a great summer watch.

It looks better than the ones on the TD sites. Indeed, the surface does look brushed.

I was luck enough to handle a gen some months ago. It's one of my favorite AP's. The rep looks better than expected at your pics. Congrats, nice watch.

Besides the white finishing, I like the fact that the marker at 3 seems to be equal in length to the one at 9. The FC, panda and ceramic models all seem to have a shorter marker at 3 visually. Congrats and wear her well! This could very well be my next AP.

I wouldn't wear this personally, I've tried the all white look with a G-Shock and it never got any wrist time as it never went with anything I wore. It's abit too much to stump up for a novelty to me

Then how many people know the brand let alone the white ceramic 44. ?
I think the OP's photos are exceptionally good and I am convinced.
I especially like the crisp dials and sub dials which I think no other AP comes close to this level of precision.

Got to say, these are the best pics of this model I've seen. The white does look nice and solid. Glad you shared your views. I'm sure this will spur a few more members to add this to their collection.

The dial is as sharp as my panda 42 - no "wet paint look" at all.
