Any JLC Reverso close to first class reps?

Calling JLC experts :) I read through the top replica list as well as different reverso related threads. It seems that no reverso is close to first class or even NWBIG. Different dimensions, thickness,…

Just wanted to check if it is really like this and which reverso rep model is likely closer to gen than the others.

Any opinions?

No, there isn't. Go gen if you really fiend for this piece, it's worth it.

The reps are "acceptable". Good enough. But definitely not even close to 1:1. But the Reverso is so rare in public, and so few people have actually seen one in real life, unless you're attending a watch event you'll never be called out for it.

If it's not Rolex, it's not repped that well.

the main issues I saw with the Reverso reps were the case thickness and the finish

also some cases are bigger than gen to accomodate the clone eta movements.

I am looking for one in quartz, might be better?

Long time ago there use to be an amazing quartz reverso 1931 tribute exclusive to puretime, sadly, more like stupidly, I let it pass.

Fairly happy with my quartz DHgate one. I wanted the black dial with no seconds but it was out of stock, so picked up a white dial.
I’ll try to share a pic later.
When you flip it over you can see screw heads, but for the price can’t complain.

If I have a Reverso, I will spend my time fidgeting with it 😅 so both sides important to me 😁

Ohhh, I would love to get one too. It is pity that puretime doesn’t have it anymore… :-(

They might make a new batch if there's enough interest. Assuming they've kept some copies for archive and since it's a watch with a simple design powered by a quartz, it should be easy to make it again...I really want one!

A Reverso case is not so easy to make well. There are over 50 component parts that have to be minutely finished to give a good visual, tactile and sound feel. Unlike a diver case which is cut from a slab of metal.

But yeah, if they remake one, I will buy one 😍🤩😍

If I remembered correctly, yes it was basically a collaboration between the forum and puretime.

Its up to the mods, but If the idea gain traction maybe we should tag puretime. Who knows, we might get lucky.

Both versions were cool, but the US limited edition 🥰👌
