SEAD over on RG has a killer 111h, but he isnt a trusted dealer here. His cg's also rival DSNs pretty well...

dsn is really expensive. thats why i opt for d4's 111h. sead's 111h i think cost more than 20$ compared to d4's which i thinks is kinda same 111h.

Hi,
I suggest you have a look in my section, I feel the PAM I (had) modded is a good alternative to DSN's one... And it's indeed based on D4M's one. Contact him by email for inquiries (see his address in his signature)

Sead CG kicks ass

And DSN and sead has the best CGs in the rep world now as they are working together.. THose crown guards are by far the beefiest and chunky CG I ever seen on a rep.. You still need to do some finishing work to it though.

Best Crown Guards rank:
1. Gen ~ $500
2. V CG ~ $300
3. LH CG ~ $200
4. Sead/Nembo
5. Thick Cartel
6. DSN

On the contrary. I have both Snembo and DSN's CGs. Snembo's is miles better than DSN's. It's much thicker and is better contoured to the case. I'm not as well versed as some of the PAM lords over at RG but I think they mentioned that Snembo's CG is best for a Pre V PAMs or something.

DSN's CG is OK. I bought his 111H and it still needs work although it's quite nicely shaped. But the CG is not as thick as it supposed to be and the lever is floppy, need to have the glue gun mod done to it.

hmm, but DSN told me he has the same crownguard as sead for the high end 111h options.

Hmmm, that's interesting... Have you actually seen this CG of his and compare it side by side with Snembo's? What do you mean by high end 111H options? Ultimate?

What came with my DSN Ultimate 111H (less than 3 month old) was nowhere near Snembo's in terms of thickness, curved top, and lever feel.

If he's got a new CG offering with the same build and design as Snembo's that would be good because I can tell you that it's a pain in the @ss to fit all the high end CGs over to his case. His build quality is awesome but he uses incompatible parts relative to the market, i.e. EL, JFu, Cartel, etc. so normally you mod your better parts to fit his casing or stick with his parts.

hmm, but DSN told me he has the same crownguard as sead for the high end 111h options.

Why do you think DSN is to expencive? You get what you pay for. Buy cheeper and mod yourself that takes time and money. I like the buy and wear method!
