Hello, as title states - I'm curious if anyones got experience with international shipping, specifically from the US to EU(Preferably Norway).

I'm curious because I'm considering buying a 2nd hand watch and would like to know any tips or risks that could be involved. I know some watches can get seized - But I for some reason assumed most of them get returned to sender(?) I Might be wrong here, as i have no experience with US to EU. I've ordered some rep watches and it's never been a issue from China but perhaps any of you have more info or could teach me a thing or two.

Thanks!

Edit/add: Me and a seller on here have tried looking and we’re uncertain what harmonization code(HS code) to go with.

Would appreciate any tips here

I can only tell you my experience, things might be very different now. I do as most people do here. I ask the seller to take the bracelet/strap away from the case and if possible also the clasp from the strap, and wrap each of those very tigthly.
I use UPS. So far they are the cheapest and less interested in checking the contents. It migth change but it worked well for me.
I declare it as used mechanical watch parts. Important as it migth be x-rayed at arrival in your country.
When you the seller makes the label, the UPS web site, will guide you into finding the correct code for what you have declared. (I don't remember what it was last time I used it).
Drop the package at a pickup point.
So far they never been picky.
