I have rather small wrist 17.5 ish.

Looking at some of 42mm auto 392, 512, 523 and 535

I don't think 523 is repped yet, and i wasn't able to find any reviews on 512, 535 (Ale's guide)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :D

Dont get a 42mm. A 42mm is NOT a Panerai. Resale of 42mm's is terrible, both rep and gen. I have a 6.9" wrist and 44mm is just fine (lugs don't exceed my wrist)! And if you go fo 44mm you have waaaaaay more options ;)

Maybe the resale isn't good, but I have a 42mm 512 and its a great watch. Much more formal than my 44's.

And there are several reviews and threads on the 512 here. Search is your friend.

Don't get it for resale value. Get it because you like the style.

How about "thank you" to show your "great appreciation"?
I guess this is why not many members reply to threads here overall.

You say you have a 17.5cm wrist?

I have a 17cm and I wear 44mm Panerai (e.g., PAM 111) and even some 47mm one (e.g., PAM 127, which looks great).

I have found that for me, more than the size of the case is the height. For example, the Luminor 1950 cases don't look nice (too tall) even though they are 44mm.

I would urge you to visit an AD and try some watches.

Example of the PAM111 (44mm) and PAM127 (47mm) on my 17cm wrist, respectively.
